"Deejays ...I've never seen that before.

"Deejays need to understand they are not doing us a favor by allowing us to listen their mix we, the listener, are doing them a favor by choosing to spend own time listening to their mix."

I agree that is the reality of our times in the information age, but I don't necessarily agree with that mentality. Actually, it depends on which deejays you're referring to. A no name deejay such as myself? Yes, the listener is doing me a favor to give it a listen. But after a few minutes, the listener is continuing to listen because they enjoy the mix. At that point, the relationship is reciprocal and nobody is doing anybody a favor anymore.

If it's a known deejay, the listener isn't doing that deejay any favors. In fact, it's the deejay who's doing the favor of allowing the listener to enjoy the mix free of charge.pipomixeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17903210277284075753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8216426411647598645.post-43791214617754563032014-01-21T15:48:38.067-05:002014-01-21T15:48:38.067-05:00oh joy to the ears

I hate when deejays put up huddles in order to hear a mix.

Deejays need to understand they are not doing us a favor by allowing us to listen their mix we, the listener, are doing them a favor by choosing to spend own time listening to their mix.

The Dynamic Hamza 21®https://www.blogger.com/profile/11481051991729258234noreply@blogger.com
