Jay-Z Performing Live at Glastonbury 2008

I just received the below email from my NYC bretheren, DJ Neil Armstrong (Jay-Z' tour DJ for those of you keeping score at home):

"Way back in April, while we were still doing the Heart of the City Tour with Mary J Blige, a fellow by the name of Noel Gallagher, the lead singer of a group called oasis made the statement that Jay-z should NOT headline this huge monstrous UK festival called the Glastonbury. In his words - "I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong.

Well, last saturday, Jay-z Did the show, and I was lucky enough to be backing him up on stage as he silenced his critics.
Again, I was given an opportunity to be part of something I had never fathomed - Covered by the BBC, performing in front of more then 90,000 people. When I did Madison Square Garden with Jay, I really didn't think anything could top it... but this one did.

Thank you U.K. and the Glastonbury Festival for showing Hip Hop some love, and thank you jay-z for bringing me on to be part of that historic night..."
