This is essential NYC rap circa 1997-98. I still remember the goose bumps I got the first time I heard Primo cut up J-Live's "Braggin Rights." Back in 97, I swore that J-Live was going to be the next Rap God. Not that J-Live isn't dope, but the hype surrounding the release of his first album was simply unfair.
