Where R They Now? - Mixed by Pipomixes

Let me start this Friday out by sending a big "FUCK U!" to zshare. As all of you are well aware, all the old zshare files are no more. But fear not, your boy pipomixes spent his Thursday evening uploading a good forty mixes back up to the blog. I can't remember which links I refreshed, but about 1/3 of them are back up and running. So, feel free to start browsing around the mixes to see which ones are back up. I plan on spending the entire weekend re-uploading the rest of the mixes for your listening pleasure.
In the meantime, I've posted this "Where R They Now?" mix that I did a few years back. If you like the recent mixes that I've posted, you should enjoy this one. Below is the explanation I wrote on the inside cover of this mix when it was initially released (2006).

This mix was largely inspired by the same titled Nas song in which Nas put out an "apb" on some of Hip Hop's forgotten favorites. The 40 minute mix blends together a wide-array of forgotten rappers who all had their moment of shine, but for one reason or another, their music is no longer on the fronts of public consciousness. From one hit wonders like the Luniz (5'on-it) or Volume 10 (Pistol Grip Pump), to legends like LL Cool J and Jeru the Damaja, all these rapper provoke the question: Where are they now? Some are making movies, some are still making music with less fanfare, and some are simply nowhere to be found.
