I've got to say that the American Gangster album is one of my favorite albums of the last few years. I love the concept and how it was inspired by the movie, and I especially love all the sample-based music thanks to Puffy and the Hitman (yes, Puffy). honestly, i don't recall ever hearing the original version of american gangster, and i feel terrible for saying that.
i never heard the american gangster.but i heard the japanese ganster from dj muro and i think its sound 1000 times better as the orginal gangster.
