I know these guys aren't retiring to the Hamptons with this deejay ish, but somebody please tell me that they're able to make a living off of this skill. It just doesn't seem right to be as good at something as Shortkut and all the rest are (J.Rocc, Revolution, P, Jazzy Jeff, etc...), and not be able to eat off of it.

Anyhow Shortkut put in work I thought that was Apache but couldn't really tell at first!! It's so amazing how they do all that these days!!Makes you really pay homage to Cash Money and Jeff who began making the records talk back in the day, to Q-Bert who took it to the next level,my reasons for saying that is they set a standard for Dj's on the 1's and 2's and now these cats have blown it in the whole I am impressed to some degree since he is usually in the mix!!!
shortkut is amazing, rekonstructed elements is a great listen and probably my favorite thing he's ever put together, another gem from you, thanks.

I too hope that their talent and love for the art is paying off. I'm sure they make enough to make ends meet and then some... let's just hope the "then some" is a big sum!
