Raida tribute week continues with this classic video. For some reason, Raida's death is really sticking with me. I don't know if it is because he was a deejay, or because he left behind a wife and two kids. But, it is always a tough pill to swallow when people die before they were able to live a full life. Maybe Roc Raida's death resonates with me because the poor guy was probably just trying to stay in-shape and start a new hobby with the whole MMA thing, and boom, one freak accident later he's dead.

So dope to see video footage of WNYU 89.1 with Roc Raida. Especially since I have this night in the tape crates. R.I.P. Raida.
Pipo...I was thinking the same thing. Ive been bummed all week about this. Honestly...when I met him in El Paso Texas a year ago to the date, I told myself "this guys is like the humblest person I have ever met" Not 1 bit of cockyness to him. And this took my by total surprise. Dude was one cool dude!!!
