DJ Quik Performs "Quik is the Name" on SP-1200

DJ Quik performed the "Quik is the Name" album in it's entirety the other night on his SP-1200 at the Key Club, L.A. It's really enjoyable to see legends like Quik find ways to make the "old," new. It's pretty hard to go wrong when you have a band, SP-1200, turntables, and a glass of champaign on stage. Personal Story: Every time I hear "Quik is the Name," I always think of my friend's sister giving me rides to school during my freshman year in high school.  This girl was the whitest of white girls and would bump "Quik is the Name" every morning like she was some sort of pimp from Compton.  More footage after the jump.
