The Lost Tapes: Rare Groove and Soul Set - Mixed by DJ LoK

Nice tasteful slow pace mix of a lot of funky soul jams. LoK's description of the mix below.

Got to love it when a "blank" CD fell out of a pile of stuff and it turned out to be an old Soul/Rare Groove set of mine from god knows when! Definately pre-serato so all from vinyl, a couple of re-issues - i'm not gonna front, there is some expensive records in there alongside some "cheap but goodies"! For instance first track i have a real one and that still goes for about £100 if you can find it!

Live From Trackside - Mixed by DJ LoK

My UK bretheren emailed me with this gem of a mix a few days back. The mix was recorded live and primarily consists of hip hop cuts from the mid 90's. 'Live From Trackside' is refreshing to listen to for two reasons. First, the selected tracks are not the typical songs you usually hear on 90's mixtapes. Second, the mix was recorded live and consists of uncut, unedited, raw skills.
