I've always known that J-Live is a deejay and that he incorporate his deejay skills into his act, but I had never taken the time to listen to any of his mixes. Boy, was I skeeping, J-Live's deejay game is on the same level as his MC skills. And that's saying a lot.

Excellent little mini-mix of Dilla samples from my main man, DJ LoK.
All music by, or inspired by Dilla. Can't believe it took me until last night to hear this excellent mix.
The best way that I can describe this mix is that it is a collection of songs influenced by Dilla. It's not a sample mix, it's not a mix of Dilla songs, but a mix of original songs (at least, I think so) with elements of Dilla songs. Before I confuse you further, just listen to the mix because it's worth your time.
This is the newest dilla mix that I've heard. Similar to everything else Rasta Root has been associated with, the mix is top notch. Check the Dillamentary below for more info on the making of The Rest of Dilla.

I posted this mix just before the new year and at the time I didn't know who was responsible for this excellent mix. Since then, it has been brought to my attention that J3 is the man behind this musical masterpiece. So, to give credit where credit is due, this Beatlemania mix gets an expedited re-post.
