Nice mix of underground gems from the late 90's. I can't remember the last time I heard Cut Chemist getting down on the turntables spinning some good old-fashion hip hop. Usually, a Cut Chemist mix means a lot of obscure funk played on 45's that were bought from some used record store in Omaha, Nebraska. All of that is cool and all, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't refreshing to hear Chemist spinning some hip hop again. The obscure funk sets are great, but hip hop deejays need to remember that they are exactly that, hip hop deejays.
