Here is a mix I did for manifestworldwide.com. Manifestworlwide is an apparel company dedicated to preserving the old school/golden age of hip hop and the culture (click here for samples). As the title suggests, the theme of the mix was to mix songs produced/performed by artists who appeared on the cover of Scratch Magazine. Back when the magazine was still in print, I remember browsing around different producer forums and reading all this bitching and moaning about Scratch and how it didn't have enough technical articles, or complaints about who was put on the cover. Well, I hope all the complainers are happy. The magazine is no more, and with the exception of Wax Poetics, there is nothing geared specifically for hip hop deejays and producers. The magazine certainly wasn't perfect, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't look forward to each issue like an 8 year old looks forward to Christmas morning. I hope all of you enjoy the mix.

Glad you enjoyed the mix. That Kush Mix sure seems to be a fan favorite. One of these days I'll do a Kush Mix 2.
OG Kush Mix anyone?

Xmas 09 would be a safer bet. But I'll do my best
finally got around to listening to this, and wow, another great mix man. you're ridiculous. i had to suffer through the nonsense wayne track at first, but it was well worth it. props.
Glad you enjoyed the mix. Sorry about the Wayne track. For some reason I actually like that track, but I guess I'm in the minority there
Snoop Dogg's "Drop it Like it Hot" version is really good. Congratulations! And thank you for the wonderful blog, it's like a drug to me.
