Kon & Amir: 50 Greatest Samples...

Great read for a Sunday morning. I'm sure most of you will critique the list to no end. But, I'll tell you this... I've gone the last 6 weeks without my turntables because I had to pack everything up to show and sell my condo. Being without my tables for the last 6 weeks has been like living without a piece of my soul. Little inspiration, little creativity, everything has just felt very gray. The half hour I spent reading this article was the first time I have felt "normal" in a long time. Hope you all enjoy.

Anon has been reading Hip Hop Is Read, LOL. Pipo, you got a new place yet or do you have to sell before you move? How you holding up?

My place is sold. Hopefully, I will be closing on our new place this week. It has been an extraordinarily stressful process. I am very hopeful that the process will likely be soon over. Thank you for asking. Are you enjoying the new 2 bdrm? Hope all is well.

Dude, it is great. It is so nice to have a space for my music separate from the main living area. I'm still getting settled in. How's the new place? House or larger condo? Can't wait to see the new Pipo space.

Criticize da gods of digging??... I could, but nah, they made a lot of choice selections. Though it does seem like their main criteria was whether it got sampled by Tribe or Beatnuts. Still, that's not bad criteria right there. Probably the best historical sample breakdown right there. A part two would be EPIC!
