Here's part I of a documentary that asks Ski Beatz, Jazzy Jeff, Kendrick Lamar, Skyzoo, Termanology and others, how they first were attracted to hip hop music. The responses of the younger cats were pretty interesting. Most of the younger heads like Kendrick Lamar shared stories of being first exposed to hip hop music through their parents. Kind of weird when one considers that I come from a generation that fought tooth and nail with their parents to listen to rap music. Times are a changin'
