The Prescription 2.1 - Mixed by DJ Soul

Most are awaiting Jay Electronica's debut album and Dr. Dre's Detox to be released, but I've been patiently awaiting Soul's third installment of No Ideas Original.  Though Soul continues to say he's working on volume 3, this late 90's mix will do nicely while we wait.

This mix was originally released in 1999 as volume #1 of The Prescription mixtape series presented by Staple Design.
Last year, it was re-recorded and released on a USB flash drive that came with the purchase of a T-shirt collaboration between DJ Soul & Jeff Staple. The DJ Soul logo on the flash drive was designed by New York graf legend Haze.
The T-shirt & flash drive package which was available at Reed Space in New York City, Colette in Paris, Shoe Gallery in Miami, Kicks Hawaii in Honolulu, Major in Washington DC is now sold out. Thank you to everybody who supported the project.
