Solid Steeel Radio Show A(11/18/16): Mighty Atom - Endtroducing Tribute Mix

Highly Recommended mix of samples used by DJ Shadow in his classic Entroducing album.
Solid Steel (18th November) 20 years ago this weekend in November 1996, Josh Davis aka DJ Shadow released his landmark album 'Endtroducing'. It was made almost entirely of samples and with the help of his Akai MPC60, he produced an iconic album that sits firmly in many top album lists. To celebrate this anniversary, Mighty Atom has put together an amazing tribute mix deconstructing the album and rebuilding it track by track, sample by sample, along with some remixes, covers and interview clips.
As with previous tribute mixes for The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Nas, De La Soul and Beck, it's done with the same attention to detail. We also have an archive DJ Shadow Solid Steel mix from 2000 at SolidSteel.net plus an interview he did with Coldcut as part of the Quannum Projects release on Ninja Tune that year.
The Endtroducing - 20th Anniversary Endtrospective Edition is available now with remixes by Clams Casino, Hudson Mohawke, Salva, Prince Paul, Bondax, Karma Kid and more.
