Video: The Making of Ready to Die - P. Diddy

I know many of you had a violently negative reaction to my last Diddy post. With all that in mind, I thought all of you would enjoy this Diddy interview where he talks about the making of "Ready to Die." Here, Diddy talks about topics ranging from the production philosophy behind Biggie's debut LP, finding Easy Mo Bee, his sampling philosophy, and selecting "Juicy" as the debut single.

Puff couldn't be more on point. That being said, I think Diddy just isn't going to the right clubs. I don't think he would be saying what he is saying if he was attending clubs where Jazzy Jeff, Ronson, J.Rocc, Revolution, and the bunch are spinning. Detail, details, details. The point is well taken. I don't know about you, but I've acquired a taste for Puffy's antics. I spent most of the 90's hating on him, but I've also spent most of the new millennium getting a chuckle out of him. Now, as much as I am entertained by Puffy, I'll never forgive him for the shiny suit era (and I can never thank him enough for Biggie).
