This mix really takes me back to how mixtapes sounded back in the 90's before editing software, midi controllers, and Serato became common place. Whether aware of it or not, every deejay was chasing J. Rocc's Sex Machine mix(s). Similar to the way you hear producers nostalgically reflect back to the days where the limitations of equipment before the computer revolution actually produced better music, it's hard not to think that the limitations of vinyl (and what was available on vinyl) and 4-track recording equipment didn't produce better, more soulful mixes. Enjoy.
