Head Bangin Funk 45's - Mixed by DJ Cash Money

Around 2004 or 2005 DJ's Rich Medina,Botany 500 & DJ Cash Money had a funk & soul party in Philly called 'The Get Down"...We played funk & soul 45's all night long. I had released this cd to promote our night...Well today is April 22 which is my daughters B-day..She was like 1 1/2 yrs old when she took this picture for my cover...I felt it was a good idea to put this mix on mixcloud today so you all can hopefully enjoy it...These are all original copies of these records..No bootlegs.......Keep It Green!!!

Old School Need To Learn'O Plot #1 - DJ Cash Money

World Cup is over, I've licked my wounds (still licking to be honest), and now I'm back on my bloggin' grind. Now that I'm once again devoting proper attention to all things mix related, I've found some gems that I missed over the last month. Case in point, this classic Cash Money mix from back in the day.

**Perhaps it is now time to release Beats, Headphones, and Coffee mix I've sitting on for a minute.

This infamous green tape was released around 1994.This was the first tape out of my Old School Need To Learn-O series..Out of all the mixes i have done, this tape is my favorite because the songs on this mix is what got me into hip hop. This is hip hop at it's purest form....This is one of the most sought after mixes i have done..Also this is Pre-Serato which means all vinyl records were used..This is my gift to all of my fans..ENJOY!!!!

Grand Master Flash Tribute - DJ Premier, DJ Ca$h Money, DJ Scratch

Primo's Nautilus routine really has me perplexed. DJ Premier is an enigma as far as I'm concerned. Some of his sets are sloppy at best. Most of us give Primo a pass on these sloppy sets because dude is just a living legend. On the other hand, I'll see a set like the Nautilus set above every once in while and I'll curse myself for ever even thinking Primo's skills are lacking. Oh yeah, Scratch and Ca$h Money ain't bad either.
