This was made around 2001-2003, taken off The Producer Series Mixtape presented by MYX. A project featuring Triple Threat DJs each representing a mix of songs from one of the best hip-hop producers in music today. Shortkut (Jay Dilla) Vinroc (Kanye West) Apollo (Dr. Dre). This mix is only 25 minutes so I'm calling it a Mini-Mix. Dr. Dre's catalog is way too deep to call this a Tribute.

This is the first time Dj Apollo has recorded his set Live and dropped it as a mixtape release. This will be the first to set off a volume released as LIVE performances. This set was performed for The Love Movement - Valentine Party @ Club Mighty SF (2.14.13) featuring the Triple Threat DJs - Apollo & Shortkut, hosted by Fran Boogie. This mix is inspired by Classic Loves Songs from the Golden Oldies Era, to the 70's, 80's & 90's.

Made in 2000 during the days of the underground indie hip hop movement when there was a new indie label everyday. This is the sound of True-school hip hop which is missed and much needed in the music today. The inspiration for this one was to give respect to real hip hop artists, putting out real hip hop records.
