Since today is the first day of February, I thought I'd post a little something to get you all in the spirit of Valentine's Day. Below is what Steve1der had to say about the mix.We are just beginning to dry-off from a week of straight rain here in socal. For us, that's the equivalent of some apocalyptic event. In the spirit of all that rain, I found this wonderful "rain" themed mix by DJ Steve1der on his soundcloud site.
I've been meaning to do a Nate Dogg mix for a while now. Well, so much for that idea because my man Steve1der beat me to it. Nate has had a rough few years as of late, but nobody can deny that he is the godfather of the hip hop hook. Just check the discography (or this mix) and see how many hits dude is associated with. I still think that G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 is one of the most slept-on albums of all time. This mix does the man justice, props to Steve1der.
When I say this is a 1st class mix, I mean that it's a 1st class mix. That's all I've got to say.
