Still Good - Mixed by Cosmo Baker
Since so many of you enjoyed the original Feeling Good mix, I thought you'd like to hear the sequel. Below is Cosmo Baker's description of the mix."This mix is the sequel to my early summer mix 'Feeling Good.' In that mix I tried to capture, using songs that I love and that have a very special meaning to me, a certain feeling that I equate with the beginning of summer. There's a certain energy and electricity that is about during the first few weeks of the season, when everything seems alive and in it's right place.
For this mix I wanted to try and capture the stillness of summer, when the air is hot and the days are long, and time seems to be moving at a slower pace than normal. This is a companion piece to 'Feeling Good' but it takes a different direction and deals with another type of - but no less intense - energy."

In 1992, I was in 8th grade and loved to spend some quality time ditching class and hanging-out in the school library. While spending much of 8th grade in the school's library, I remember the library having a copy of the above pictured Rolling Stones issue. I must have read that Dre and Snoop article over 150 times. I used to hide the magazine between unread books to make sure that it would always be there when I needed it. Sixteen years later, the only thing I still remember about the article is a vague recollection of Dre dissing his old NWA production at the time, and proclaiming to the world that his Chronic production was going to forever change the face of hip hop.Tracklist
